Scaffold Spring Clips are used to secure a Coupling Pin in a frame leg. When stacking scaffold, we recommend using a Spring Clip for pinning the Coupling Pin to the bottom frame leg and a Toggle Pin, Pig Tail Pin or Span Pin for fastening the Coupling Pin to the top frame leg.
Scaffold Pig Tail Pins are commonly used to secure the upper hole of a Coupling Pin to a Scaffold Frame Leg. Also used to pin Casters, Side Brackets, Guard Rail Posts, etc.
Scaffold Toggle Pins are commonly used to secure the upper hole of a Coupling Pin to a Scaffold Frame Leg. Also used to pin Casters, Side Brackets, Guard Rail Posts, etc.
Scaffold Span Pins are commonly used to secure a Caster in a Socket Jack or Scaffold Frame. Span Pins are also used to pin Guard Rail Posts, top frame leg to the Coupling Pin, etc.
Scaffolds Supply's 9" Coupling Pin (1-7/16" Ø) with 1" Collar is to be used with a 1.69" Ø frame leg (1-11/16"). The collar helps to evenly distribute the weight of the top frame while the tapered ends allow for easy stacking.Does not include the Spring Clip.
